The Community Partnership for Healthy Families
Created in response to the growing number of neglect cases reported to the Department of Family and Protective Services in Ector County.
The Community Partnership for Healthy Families consists of two programs:
The Specialized Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)- Focused on reviewing specific cases of neglect while providing long-term case management to the entire family. Our team ensures that the families referred by DFPS have access to all the support services needed to become thriving families.
A Community Coalition- Comprised of community leaders, agencies, and community members aimed at reducing neglect cases in Ector County by providing education and access to resources, increasing communication amongst organizations, and influencing public policy and social change.
