Each child who comes through our doors for an interview receives an item from our Comfort Closet. These items help the child to feel comforted after their world is shattered due to abuse.  We always accept donations of newly purchased blankets and stuffed animals to help keep this closet filled and our children comforted.

During summer break, Harmony Home holds a backpack and school supply drive for our families in need. Contribute by donating supplies to send kids back to school with all the needed items for their best chance at success.

Child Abuse is always traumatic and at Harmony Home, we often see families in need of items such as clothing, shoes, hygiene items, household items, etc. Our family support team wants to ensure all our clients have what is needed so they can focus on healing from abuse. Our Family Supply Closet is available to all families that need supplies and is maintained by donations from our supportive community.

Harmony Home welcomes donations for Thanksgiving dinner items each November. Included are full turkeys, hams, pies, and all the fixings. Help our families this year by giving back these items to those in need.

We know times are tough. That’s why Harmony Home hosts a Goods Giveaway twice a year, essentially a free garage sale to help our community’s families meet their basic needs. During the planning stages of this event, we accept gently used home goods, clothing, shoes, and toys.

Child abuse is never anticipated. At Harmony Home, we understand this and prepare go-bags with a change of clothing and comfort items to be used at the hospital for a SANE exam, no matter the time of day or night. Help us by donating new children's clothing, undergarments, or travel hygiene products to keep this go-bag stocked for our clients and their comfort.

Harmony Home helps families enjoy Christmas by compiling a list of clothing sizes and toys children want during the holiday. Contact us at (432) 333-5233 or by email at amanda@hhcac.org to select a family to shop for this year. All names are kept anonymous.

The blue pinwheel represents innocence and is a national symbol for child abuse prevention. The pinwheel is a positive emblem of the effect we can have when we work together to prevent child abuse. For a small donation, pinwheels can be picked up from Harmony Home.
